The journey of a poet anywhere around the globe comes to the point where they tirelessly work to have their first book published, such is my story as a poet. It has been a special dream of mine to finally get to this point. To be able to contribute to the already rich bank of poetic works by various authors in Ghana.
Musings of An Eclectic Soul embodies the values, rich history and culture of a typical Ghanaian and African society at large. It paints a rare picture of an African setting before it was plagued by colonization.
My pain, hope and aspirations to see Mother Ghana take a critical look at its bleeding heart influenced the sharp words directed at the status quo. While calling on the very souls they trample on to rise and free ourselves from the shackles of fear.
Musings Of An Eclectic Soul teases the minds of its readers with memories of our childhood and the games we played.
The heart of a lover holds words and emotions unimaginable which is why this book explores the slippery floors of love. From the newly found love to the broken hearted, there is enough to fill our cups in this book.
All of these are climaxed with religious poems to explore the uniqueness of God. After all we are only pencils in the hands of the Creator.
The book will be available on the ReaderApp on Monday, 25th February 2019. To get your copy, just download the ReaderApp on Google Play Store signup and get your copy with so much ease.
