"I Want To Sue God" casts deliver befitting welcome back to theatre.

Masses thronged the main hall of the Center for National Culture, Cape Coast on the calm night of Friday, 27th August 2021, to witness the very anticipated stage play titled “I Want To Sue God”.

The event lived up to its hype as audiences across various classes and industries were thrilled by unending moments of laughter. This play seemed like a long-awaited satisfaction for the craving for stage play in the Central regional capital.

Following the ban on theatre events as part of COVID-19 preventive measures by the Government, the organizers of the show can surely give themselves a pat on the back.

Execution of weeks of practice before a live audience on the final day is as critical as the casts tasked to wow the audience. Responses of most of the audience after the two-part show emphasized the excellence of the seven (7) cast on the night.

The play is centered on the nightmares of a groom after an expensive marriage, only to realize what was advertised was not what he brought home.

“I Want To Sue God” was directed by Mr. David Chapman who doubled as one of the two main characters of the play. He thanked the Center for National Culture management and staff for the enormous support towards the success of the show.
