Tall Black Girls Inc. Poetry Masterpiece by Abeiku Arhin Tsiwah (The Village Thinker)

My life has always been written in sheer struggles, forceful frustration & foreclosure bummers

           I write to stay alive.
I write Poetry to be zoetic.

But more importantly, to be part of the collective human race that contributes knowledge to the field of Literature & the Poetics has soberly been the greatest anchorage in life despite all the failures that underline such pursuit.

TALL BLACK GIRLS INC. is one of my humble offerings to African Literature, a contribution that biddable my life to the core.

We said we shall write (it doesn’t matter which genre or stream). We promised our forebears we were not going to let them down. Though we might inch ourselves through nightmares, like reaching out for our beds and being tormented by thoughts and muscled by ideas until there are days and nights — we’ve grown to be insomniac in this process.

The toil is a pain in its own flow and a discord in its own tweaks. But we’re surviving it, like trying to make the Black Pride (Black Skin) not get discolored over time.

This book, TALL BLACK GIRLS INC., is our way of bridging the conversation and whipping up the consciousness of the black communities that “being beautiful is being Black and being Black is being beautiful.”
Stop Skin Bleaching.
Stop Melanin Discolorization.
Black is Beautiful.
