THMPoetry And St. Monica’s Girls School In Cape Coast Goes For Poetic Ride.

THMPoetry yesterday had their first rehearsal with the girls of St. Monica’s Girls School in Cape Coast. This was done as part of St. Monica’s Girls School’s preparation for a poetry performance at the National Basic Arts and Culture Festival.

This is festival is a government initiative to help showcase, revive, and stabilize the Ghanaian culture. It is done nationwide and includes pupils from basic schools exhibit different forms of the Ghanaian heritage.

Aside poetry, there will also be the display of drum language, traditional dance, paintings, foods and many others.
The national edition will take place at Philip Quacoe Girls School premises in Cape Coast on the Monday, 4th of April, 2019.

For the team at THMPoetry and St. Monica’s Girls School they are all about putting on the best show that embodies true culture of Ghana while appreciating the beauty and power of poetry.
